About
Barbara Krystal focuses on environmental humanities and the intersection between diverse fields of study and the environment. A marine biologist and literature scholar, Barbara fuses science and humanities to connect students to exploring their interests through a variety of lenses. Research interest includes how marine species influences human culture. Barbara enjoys all things water and is an avid swimmer who was also on the water polo team in college.
